Erik is the scarred king of the Ever Kingdom and has thought of nothing but vengeance against the man who killed his father and trapped him beneath the waves making Erik a prisoner in his realm. Until Livia, the daughter of his enemy unintentionally is the key to breaking the chains on the Ever.
Livia is a strong-minded and endearing FMC, who gets kidnapped by Erik, a morally grey, scarred king who would do anything for his realm, but his connection with Livia has him evaluating situations in the book differently than he maybe should.
This book has quite a few interconnecting elements that were interesting to unravel throughout the book. The story is fantasy with Fae-Pirates and Vikings.
Looking forward to Ever Queens coming out.
The Ever King ends on a cliffhanger, the second instalment to The Ever Seas Series comes out on 26th January 2024.
