Fourth Wing is one of the most hyped books I have read in a long time and it did not disappoint. The debut novel of the Empyrean series introduces Violet who her whole life had been told she was delicate, and is pushed into the trials and tribulations of joining the Riders Quadrant. Xaden is the son of the rebel leader who was executed, marked with the rebellion relic is one of the top wing leaders in the quadrant. With fewer dragons selecting riders, Violet is caught in a deadly fight to graduate or die.
This book had me sitting at the edge of my seat, gripping my Kindle. The fear, the angst, the suspense, and trying to work out the hidden messages that Rebecca is sprinkling throughout hint at underlying plot lines. Love, love, love!
