Amaia is a ballerina for an LA company and is in the running to be prima ballerina. When her estranged half-brother, Dmitri is meant to come to see her company’s show but doesn’t, she starts having weird feelings that someone has been in her apartment… while she has been asleep. She meets Viktor after one of her shows and ends up turning her world on the axis as things that were hiding in the shadows of her past come to light.
Viktor is one of the older Petrov brothers, in charge of Los Angeles. He goes looking for one of his rivals, Dmitri, who went to watch the ballet Viktor is now curious to see the dancers he wanted to see, heading backstage he glimpses a beautiful stretching ballerina before she slams her dressing room door in his face. That is his enemy’s sister, he is supposed to hate her, but, becomes his obsession instead.
Viktor and Amaia have an instantaneous connection and sexual chemistry, both have internal struggles and the other helps the other one navigate and banter in the best way possible for a story that is on the shorter ends due to being part of a Novella.
Highly recommend the Petrov Family Dark Mafia Romance Novella, Viktor is the second book released in the series, however, you can read them in any order, as they all connect at the same timeline of arriving at the family Christmas at the end of the book.
