This book had been a whirlwind of emotions, I don’t think my heart has broken for a character's struggles as much as I have with Jax. This is another masterpiece done by Luna Mason and a beautiful start to her new series Beneath the Secrets.
The mental struggle that Jax faces throughout this book is a big one, and passing on words of caution from the author, please protect yourself mentally, though it is a spoiler it is a big trigger to some that Jax tries to attempt his own life. These chapters are listed above in the trigger warning and Luna Mason has added them to the note at the beginning of the book, which can be skipped if you feel it is necessary.
